VANASCHE MOTORSPORTS 690/701 Ultimate UHMW Skid Plate
This plate is made from 3/8" thick (9.5mm) UHMW that is Thermo-Formed for a contoured shape which improves fitment and maintains ground clearance. This is not cold-broke and welded like HDPE plates. UHMW has 10X the wearresistance of mild steel and is self-lubricating for an extremely low coefficient of friction unlike the competition.
Vanasche Motorsports has teamed up with Molecule Motosports, an expert in Thermo-Forming UHMW skid plates, to produce a proper plate to best all others.
We wanted to produce a plate that was extremely tough, durable, highly wear & impact resistant, and still offered the sound abatement qualities of plastic plates. Coming from an industrial background we knew that the only real option that would outperform all other plastics in an application such as this was UHMW (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene).
Vansache Motorsports handled the precision machined components while Molecule cut and formed the UHMW. A partnership that will serve our customer base the best performance skid plates available.
