A great damage prevention product

I've read many reports of the fuel pump spigot and mountings being damaged from crashing
I bought this but preferred to retain the OEM plastic spigot as I believe the Rottweiler Performance alloy guard does the job just fine and I'd rather keep the plastic factory OEM spigot as it is well protected (and an alloy aftermarket spigot may just damage the fuel pump housing, where the plastic OEM spigot will break, preventing the fuel pump housing from being damaged too)**
**This is my conclusion and personal preference! If you prefer the Rottweiler Performance alloy spigot, then purchase it, do not let my choices prevent you from what you believe
Installation is easy, it comes with extended quality stainless steel Allen Capped bolts
As per the YouTube/online instructions this is best done with a low fuel level or you will
Place some bubble wrap/cardboard/pit blanket or similar for the bike to lay on
Lay the bike on the right and the footrest and bars make contact when the bike is laid down
Remove the factory bolts, line up the guard under the tank, hand tighten then torque bolts to the factory specifications
Upright the bike and the job is done, simple!
Another must have item for those of us who ride off road
